Hot Day
Thirteen year-old Kim had been uncomfortably hot since the first rays of the sun had blasted through her bedroom window. The warm breeze was no help, offering little comfort at all.
What was more, her little brother was nowhere in sight; and that never boded well. Mickey was a master of giving his teenaged sister fits at the oddest of times…
BLOOOSH!!
Kim screamed as something soft had burst over her head, showering her with cool, beautiful water.
"Mickey!!"
She looked and found the garden hose, and then smiled evilly. Just what she needed.
Suddenly, hot days weren't so bad.
